Position Overview

This role is responsible for creating and executing business plans to achieve territory objectives by driving market traffic and optimizing product availability. The position involves identifying potential markets, appointing and training distributors, managing sales representatives, and building strong customer relationships.


Responsibilities

  • Create business plans to achieve targets and meet territory objectives.
  • Drive market traffic and optimize product availability.
  • Identify potential towns and appoint distributors.
  • Induct distributors on ANI processes and systems in line with business strategy.
  • Allocate ISRs based on market potential.
  • Facilitate hiring, induction, training, and coaching of ISRs.
  • Ensure alignment to "ANI ways of working" and engage ISRs for high retention rates.
  • Establish relationships with customers to uncover needs, drive orders, and increase SKU stocking.
  • Conduct daily sales calls to coach the team and increase order volume.
  • Check stock and ensure proper merchandising at each customer.
  • Negotiate customer deliverables/contracts that provide win-win solutions.
  • Ensure shops are merchandised and maintain Key SKUs in accordance with Abbott expectations.
  • Maximize product availability and potential sales.
  • Demonstrate the superiority of Abbott products from the customer’s perspective.
  • Influence customers to maintain a proper balance of stock and market credit.
  • Periodically review customer financial health.
  • Conduct monthly reviews of channel performance and create plans to address lagging channels.
  • Influence distributors to carry stock and adhere to route plans for trade and consumer promotion implementation.
  • Ensure adequate daily stock replenishment through accurate forecasting to meet targets.
  • Build a quality customer database, territory information, and understand the competitive landscape.
  • Integrate the digital customer’s journey with the customer lifecycle to support demand creation and retention (e.g., POS App, self-serviced app/web, learning management systems, retail communities, webinars).
  • Act in alignment with compliance and regulatory expectations.
