Key Account Manager - Tampa, FL

Position Overview:

iRhythm is seeking a Key Account Manager for the Tampa, FL area. This role is crucial for providing superior support to grow, nurture, and maintain iRhythm’s highest volume accounts. The Key Account Manager will cultivate and sustain long-term customer relationships while meeting and exceeding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Proactively delivering value-added services and advocating internally for solutions to drive business outcomes are central to this position. Collaboration with iRhythm’s Marketing, Customer Care, and Clinical Operations teams is expected. The Key Account Manager will serve as the primary escalation and intervention point of contact for customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategically partner with the iRhythm Sales organization to ensure the success of customers and patients within our large account segment.
  • Drive customer and account performance by monitoring and measuring activities including: registration volume, device inventory management, customer and patient satisfaction, clinical effectiveness, and workflow efficiency.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for iRhythm internal teams regarding assigned customers.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders in billing, clinical operations, legal, finance, inventory, and customer care to ensure efficient account performance.
  • Train customers on iRhythm service tools (ZioSuite, MyZio, etc.).
  • Act in a timely manner to resolve customer issues.
  • Provide continuous evaluation of processes and customer workflow, suggesting new methods to create efficiencies through improved processes and additional technology.
  • Leverage iRhythm regional expertise as necessary.
  • Manage, onboard, and support assigned accounts.
  • Attend and support key customer meetings and sales Quarterly Business Review (QBR) sessions.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with accounts and the internal sales organization.
  • Lead or participate in strategic initiatives within assigned accounts.
  • Conduct in-person account management initiatives as needed.
  • Monitor and communicate key performance trends across assigned accounts, developing action plans to improve account performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • At least 3 years in an account management or customer success role supporting large or complex accounts.
  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, or Sales Account Manager in a healthcare, medical device, or biotechnology environment.
  • Self-directed and proactive.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with tools commonly used in a business environment including: CRM customer relationship management (Salesforce), reporting, and Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptionally collaborative, highly responsive, flexible, and adaptive.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 20%.
