Requirements

  • BS or MS in scientific or medical related field
  • 3+ years of customer service experience in medical industry (clinical experience is a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize based on business need
  • Demonstrated strong attention to details and communication skills (writing/verbal)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment and adapt to a variety of projects/business circumstances
  • Command of spoken and written English
  • Proficient in MS Office applications

Responsibilities

  • Maintain current customer relationship: Provide 1st line service and support to maintain firm relationship with customers
  • Introduce Abbott Molecular assays, applications, and systems to both internal and external customers
  • Plan and conduct customer visits to provide new product information and gather requests from customers
  • Manage customer relationship and thoroughly plan, prepare, and follow up customer visits (pre-call plan, post-call)
  • Execute country sales strategies to drive existing customer business and protect base business
  • Renewals of most of the assigned accounts (adhering to standard renewal procedures)
  • Menu expansion (Utilization of existing products: new product launches)
  • Replenish and control customer inventory, collect and transmit VOC (Voice of Customer)
  • Contact distributor for certain business opportunity
  • NPS Responsibility (Incl. Hot Sheets)
  • Ensure all company activities are conducted within the framework of the Abbott Code
  • Conduct business reviews and monthly forecasting to drive, maintain and update ASPEN database for the territory
