Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a life science discipline such as Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or Molecular Biology, or a related field. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for engaging with researchers and scientists. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, goal-oriented, and possess strong attention to detail. Proficiency with technology, including the ability to learn and use CRM and chat platforms efficiently, is also required. While sales experience is a plus, it is not mandatory as comprehensive training will be provided.

Responsibilities

The Sales Development Representative will identify new prospects and book qualified meetings for Account Managers by conducting outbound prospecting through email, phone, and LinkedIn into net new accounts. They will also serve as a front-line representative on the company's website chat, engaging visitors, answering initial questions, and directing them to appropriate resources or booking meetings. Responsibilities include researching key contacts and decision-makers within target accounts, utilizing CRM systems like Salesforce.com to log activity and track outreach, and collaborating with Account Managers to align on account strategies and campaigns.
