Candidates should possess a minimum of 4 years of demonstrated sales experience or relevant technical/clinical experience, preferably in the medical, scientific, or healthcare industry, and a minimum of an Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred); preferably with a science or business emphasis or equivalent experience. They should also demonstrate an understanding of veterinary terminology/science, skills selling capital equipment in physician and/or veterinary clinics, and the ability to transport, set-up, and demonstrate equipment quickly and effectively.
The Diagnostics Solutions Consultant will develop and maintain a thorough understanding of diagnostic products and services, travel to customer and prospective customer locations to demonstrate diagnostic solutions and equipment, document all customer interactions, transport equipment, explain the uses and benefits of diagnostic products and services, secure purchase orders, provide ongoing customer support, generate new business and leads, support billing and collection efforts, collaborate with colleagues to achieve goals, and update and maintain sales funnel and customer profile data within the system.
