Experience selling to state and local government, K-12, and higher education, including navigating complex procurement rules and long sales cycles, is essential. A strong understanding of RingCentral's UCaaS Platform, including hosted VoIP, Contact Center, mobile applications, and IP hardware, is required. The role demands excellent customer service orientation, strong initiative, creativity applied through technology, and a vibrant, energetic attitude.
The Majors Expansion Account Manager will proactively manage a list of premier public sector customers, cultivating and saturating business within these accounts. Responsibilities include uncovering and capitalizing on upsell opportunities, providing a high level of customer service, and leveraging B2B solution selling skills to grow the book of business and expand the RingCentral footprint. This involves becoming an expert on the RingCentral UCaaS Platform, understanding customer business priorities and public sector specific use cases, and utilizing sales methodologies to demonstrate the advantages of partnering with RingCentral. The role also involves driving the communication message within multiple sub-verticals and maintaining the existing customer base.
