A fast-growing software company is seeking a Government/Education Account Executive to create a business development plan and close new customers using strategic sales tactics. Fleetio is a modern software platform helping organizations manage fleet operations, recently raising $144M in Series C funding.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience successfully closing Public Sector sales opportunities
  • 3+ years of experience carrying a $500k+ quota
  • High proficiency in selling software as a service (SaaS) and cloud-based solutions to government customers
  • Experience selling to government and education organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Source and close net new logos within a given territory.
  • Develop a strategic business plan to source and close net new logos.
  • Research and understand the business objectives of customers.
  • Perform a value-driven sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to move deals forward.
  • Consistently deliver ARR revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies and tactics to generate pipeline and drive sales opportunities.
  • Provide timely and insightful input to Product Management, Customer Success, and Account Management.
  • Create ROI and business justification reports based on a data-driven approach.
  • Run tight Proof of Concepts (POCs) based on business success criteria.
