Requirements

Candidates must have 7 years of presales experience, including experience managing presales teams as a first-line manager. A deep understanding of the US market, experience selling to senior management, and familiarity with the state and local government landscape, including specific needs, challenges, and regulatory requirements, are essential. Knowledge of industry best practices in the SLG sector, experience in a fast-growing IT environment (software, cloud, or customer experience), and an understanding of value-based selling or solution selling are also required. A thorough understanding of the SaaS market, PaaS-based solutions, and Service Management practices is necessary.

Responsibilities

The Sr Mgr, Solution Consulting will ensure Solution Consultants demonstrate relevance to customers, discover business and technical problems, deliver high-quality presentations and demonstrations, and execute proofs of concept when needed. Responsibilities include comprehending and documenting business value, ensuring customer commitment to solutions, developing team members, and maintaining a recruiting pipeline for potential SC candidates. The role involves working with regional sales managers to prioritize efforts, assigning resources to sales opportunities, evaluating progress against goals, and assigning resources to marketing efforts for demand generation. Additionally, the manager will develop and deploy team training curriculums, evaluate team members regularly, manage day-to-day activities like resource scheduling, expense review, and activity reporting.
