Requirements

Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience in managing and scaling Business Development Representative (BDR)/Sales Development Representative (SDR) teams, ideally within a SaaS or technology-focused organization. They must demonstrate the ability to build high-performing teams and foster career development for direct reports, along with a strong understanding of outbound lead generation strategies, tools, and best practices. Analytical skills and experience leveraging CRM and sales engagement tools are also required, as well as exceptional communication skills to connect with technical audiences, including developers and data scientists.

Responsibilities

The Head of Business Development will lead, mentor, and manage a team of BDRs/SDRs, fostering a high-performance culture, and developing strategies for outbound prospecting and lead generation to drive revenue growth. They will design and implement scalable processes, collaborate with Marketing and Sales leadership, analyze team performance, recruit and train new team members, refine outreach techniques, and serve as the voice of the sales team within the organization. Furthermore, they will stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to ensure strategies remain competitive and relevant.
