A proven track record of selling to executive-level healthcare providers, such as hospitals and health systems, is essential. The role requires dynamic presentation skills, the ability to understand customer needs and develop solutions, excellent writing, critical thinking, and negotiation skills, and the capacity to travel domestically up to 60%. Prior experience in health system revenue cycle, particularly in mid-cycle areas like coding or clinical documentation improvement, is highly desirable.
The Director, Sales will be responsible for prospecting, building, and closing new business by partnering with executives at hospitals and health systems. This involves building relationships with C-Level executives to discuss strategic and operational challenges, presenting solutions, and driving business development and sales strategy to meet sales targets. The role includes conducting consultative presentations, prospecting new sales opportunities with the BDR team, leading the entire sales cycle from opportunity creation to closing, and providing insights from visits to inform research and product development. Additionally, the Director, Sales will engage with customers at industry events and collaborate with internal teams like product, marketing, finance, and legal to achieve sales outcomes and support forecasting.
