Requirements

Candidates should possess at least 10 years of progressive experience in revenue cycle management, with a strong command of the full order-to-cash process. A minimum of 5 years of data-driven revenue cycle leadership experience, including direct management of cross-functional and remote teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment, is required. Additionally, at least 3 years of experience managing outsourced RCM vendors, including offshore partners, with a focus on performance, compliance, and service delivery, is necessary. Proven success in leading operational improvement initiatives, optimizing workflows, and driving measurable results across the revenue cycle, along with a deep understanding of payer requirements, denial management, cash collections, and AR, are essential.

Responsibilities

The Senior Manager of Revenue Cycle Management will lead the performance of onshore and offshore RCM teams and vendor partners, ensuring accountability, SLA adherence, and continuous improvement. This role involves acting as the primary escalation point for billing grievances, collaborating with Executive Leadership, Finance, Market Access, and Commercial teams to align RCM strategies with financial goals, and partnering with IT to support system enhancements, integrations, and automation initiatives. The manager will drive RCM transformation efforts, monitor and report on key RCM KPIs, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, support organizational readiness for scaling RCM models, mentor and develop direct reports, and present performance updates and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.
