Requirements

The Director of Business Development, US Army, requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, a minimum of 10 years of experience in wireless communications within Business Development and/or Program Management roles, and at least 5 years of recent experience with opportunity capture specific to the U.S. DoD across multiple services such as the Air Force, Army, SOCOM, etc. Candidates must have a demonstrated track record of securing contracts valued between $1M-20M+, experience with CRM for portfolio management, and a practical understanding of product development, technology transitioning, and marketing/product planning for US military applications.

Responsibilities

This role involves identifying strategic alliances and partners for key pursuit opportunities, continuing those relationships through contract award and program execution, capturing new government and military business opportunities, conducting customer engagement and call planning with senior leaders, participating in trade shows and seminars, traveling to facilitate customer engagement, serving as the primary face to the customer during program execution, and performing other related duties as assigned. The Director will also work internally to ensure timely and successful delivery to customer expectations and satisfaction.
