Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably selling a SaaS product, and an exceptional track record of targeting and closing deals with small to medium enterprise customers. A BA or BS degree is preferred. Experience selling technology solutions to commercial and midmarket firms, including experience selling via Google Workspace partners and resellers, is required. Technology sales experience in a B2B environment, including experience selling and prospecting to new customers and following a defined sales process, is also necessary. Strong interpersonal, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to excel in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency in Salesforce.com for opportunity management and forecasting, along with tremendous organizational skills and the ability to perform in a high-volume, high-transactional environment, are required. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
The Commercial Account Executive will focus on new logo acquisition within a territory in the West/South India region and run the full sales cycle. Responsibilities include leading demonstrations with the assistance of pre-sales resources, using tools such as Salesforce, Sales Navigator, and Gong, and strategically prospecting into CTOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, and technical end users. They will convert inbound leads and BDR/SDR passes to closed opportunities, convert leads generated by partners into closed won opportunities, and collaborate with Marketing and other key stakeholders in programs and projects covering partner/channel enablement and pipe generation with partners. Additionally, they will find outbound leads and generate opportunities from their target list, and maintain knowledge of market conditions and competitive activities.
