Candidates must have at least 5 years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of selling technology solutions to executive-level enterprise customers. Experience identifying and navigating multiple stakeholders across different departments and seniority levels is required, along with a passion for technology and the ability to speak to engineers. Strong, clear written and verbal communication skills are necessary, as is customer empathy, adaptability, and a commitment to learning. Previous experience working for a high-growth stage startup is also expected.
The Enterprise Account Executive will identify quality enterprise leads and develop them into high-value opportunities. They will build trusted relationships up and down the organizations of target accounts, listen intently to understand customer pain points, and own the entire sales process from prospecting to negotiating contracts. This role involves coordinating closely with the Marketing Team and other AEs to create account-based sales and marketing strategies, providing a phenomenal customer experience, and offering thought leadership to apply Syrup’s solution to customer issues. Responsibilities also include keeping CRM up-to-date with customer information, forecasts, and pipeline data, managing a high-volume of communications, experimenting with customer targeting, messaging, and sales processes to help write the future Syrup Sales playbook, and exceeding quarterly sales targets.
