Candidates should have previous successful sales experience or a strong desire to begin a sales career, a track record of high achievement, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. They must possess the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment, a desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals, natural curiosity and passion, and the technical aptitude to master sales tools. A keenly developed competitive nature and "one-speed" energy with a highly self-driven sense of motivation are also required, along with the ability to deal with and thrive on objections and rejection daily.
The Business Development Representative will research target accounts, craft multi-channel outreach, and spark high-quality conversations with prospective customers. They will uncover pain points, position Ambient.ai's value, and convert interest into qualified meetings and pipeline. Responsibilities include working closely with Regional Sales Managers to develop prospecting strategies, conducting high-volume prospecting through cold calls, emails, and social media, and scheduling marketing assessments and discovery meetings. They will also conduct qualification calls with assigned prospects, prioritize opportunities, use Salesforce for lead management and sales forecasting, and ensure timely follow-up with all prospects.
