Position Overview

Samsung SDS America is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Enterprise SaaS Solution Team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a new global business initiative, combining the agility of a startup with the robust financial backing and global recognition of Samsung SDS America.

Our recently launched SaaS solution, Caidentia, is a Procurement and SRM platform that integrates advanced supply chain and AI features. It streamlines procurement from design to payment, enhances supplier collaboration, and optimizes supply chain performance.

The SDR will be instrumental in generating qualified business leads, cultivating initial client relationships, and managing leads through the early stages of the sales cycle. This role also involves supporting the team in setting up product demonstrations. We are looking for a proactive individual with a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This position collaborates closely with both the sales and presales teams to achieve revenue objectives.

This is a remote, U.S.-based position. Business travel up to 35% may be required.

Responsibilities

Lead Generation and Outbound Prospecting

  • Research and identify potential leads using Salesforce, LinkedIn, and other demand generation tools.
  • Prospect through various channels, including online research, social media, and industry events.
  • Contact and qualify potential customers through approximately 40-50 phone calls and 30 email campaigns per day.
  • Set appointments and follow up on leads.
  • Track progress towards meeting sales goals.
  • Maintain and update the lead database in Salesforce, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute lead generation campaigns.
  • Attend trade shows and industry events as required.

Sales Support

  • Assist the sales team in setting up and coordinating product demos and presentations for sales calls and events.
  • Prepare and customize sales materials and presentations to meet specific client needs.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing sales documentation.
  • Track and follow up on sales leads, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and interactions in the CRM system.
  • Provide regular reports on lead generation and qualification metrics.

Presales Support

  • Assist the presales team in setting up and coordinating product demonstrations and presentations for client meetings and marketing events.
  • Support the team in RFX proposal preparation, market research, and data analysis.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders across multiple time zones.
  • Coordinate meetings and demonstrations for stakeholders in multiple time zones.
  • Gather feedback from the presales and sales teams on lead quality.
