Position Overview

Cars Commerce is seeking a motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our team. This role is crucial for maintaining and growing our customer base by acting as the primary point of contact for existing Cars Commerce customers. You will be responsible for ensuring customer success, driving retention, and identifying growth opportunities through the sale of our products and services. This position requires extensive travel within the assigned Los Angeles, CA (San Fernando Valley) territory.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for Cars Commerce customers, focusing on ongoing customer success, retention, and growth.
  • Sell products and services to existing customers.
  • Maintain customer relationships by visiting assigned customers within the sales territory (geographic area, industry, or product/service segment).
  • Respond to client inquiries and offer guidance on appropriate products and services.
  • Execute sales strategy and identify and close upsell opportunities.
  • Provide insights to customers by preparing reports and key information that communicate value.
  • Demonstrate expertise in retention and sales techniques, as well as Cars Commerce products and services.
  • Travel (driving/flights) at least 75% in an assigned territory to visit prospective customers face-to-face.
  • Partner across selling and servicing roles within Cars Commerce to ensure customers receive maximum value from the Cars Commerce Platform.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Excellent planning and solutions selling experience.
  • Motivated and comfortable working remotely in a home office as well as from the road/field.
  • Ability to conduct in-depth sales presentations, including product demonstrations that highlight key benefits, return on investment, and the value of our solutions and services.
  • Proven persuasion and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in the automotive space or digital marketplace is ideal.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer relationship-building skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Proven ability to identify and close sales opportunities.
  • 3+ years of relevant sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated consistent quota attainment track record with a continuous desire to win.
  • Overall experience selling advertising or complex SaaS/software solutions to business leaders.
  • Candidates are required to live within the Los Angeles, CA (San Fernando Valley) territory.
