The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of advertising sales experience, with a proven track record and a strong understanding of the digital space including native, content, sponsorships, social, and custom advertising. A BS/BA degree or equivalent training and experience is required, along with fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and familiarity with CRM systems. The ability to travel 10-25% of the time and be located in a US time zone is also necessary. Experience with home category brands, ad agency experience, programmatic sales experience, or a degree in marketing, advertising, or business are considered ideal.
This role involves managing a territory and sales quota, focusing on brands in home-related categories, and developing strategies for long-term revenue growth. Responsibilities include prospecting, lead generation, cold outreach, setting up meetings, pitching advertising benefits, negotiating deals, and closing sales. The Brand Partner will act as a business specialist for clients, developing digital and mixed media solutions, and establishing strong client relationships through frequent calls. They will also need to manage account challenges, stay informed about marketplace trends, and evangelize Houzz's unique positioning.
