Candidates must have 6+ years of field sales experience selling technical solutions and software products into the enterprise market, with a consistent record of exceeding sales objectives and securing new logos. Demonstrable experience executing complex enterprise sales strategies in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Science, or AI/ML is required, along with a solution-based selling approach, experience managing complex sales processes, and excellent presentation, listening, organization, and contact management skills. The ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships and a proven track record of hitting multi-million dollar annual revenue targets are essential. Employees are also expected to adhere to company confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data.
The Account Executive will prospect, develop, and close net new business and customer acquisition within a timely manner, focusing on client requirements. Responsibilities include becoming an expert on Snowflake's product, conducting discovery calls, customized demos, and presentations, and acting as a trusted advisor by understanding customer roadmaps to drive the Snowflake solution. The role involves qualifying prospects, developing new sales opportunities and revenue streams, and landing, adopting, expanding, and deepening sales opportunities within assigned accounts or territories. Achieving quarterly and annual sales quotas by developing and executing a regional sales strategy with a target prospect list and sales plan is a key responsibility. The Account Executive will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as sales engineering, professional services, marketing, legal, and finance.
