TetraScience is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to join their Enterprise Sales Team. The primary goal of this role is to introduce potential clients to the value of the Scientific Data Cloud. This position requires comfort in building a territory, segmenting target lists, leading large account acquisition campaigns, and managing stakeholders through to account closure. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in creating, managing, and delivering the engagement process for their focus accounts. Collaboration, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to customer success are essential. The candidate should be forward-thinking, passionate about selling complex data platforms, and adept at explaining how these platforms handle ingestion, harmonization, orchestration, and enable AI/ML for enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the growth and adoption of TetraScience Scientific Data Cloud.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying to closing deals.
  • Uncover new opportunities within existing customer base and target accounts.
  • Provide timely and accurate forecasts and clear visibility on sales and revenue performance by actively managing the sales pipeline and weekly forecasts.
  • Leverage and coordinate cross-functional teams (Legal, Engineering, Marketing, Product) to navigate complex sales cycles efficiently.
  • Engage in team development and mentoring.
  • Lead compelling presentations of TetraScience Data Integration Products and vision to diverse audiences, including R&D IT, Informatics, Scientists, Data Scientists, Directors, VPs, CDOs, and Digital Transformation Executives.
  • Travel to customers and events to prospect and promote TetraScience's products.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a sales role within Cloud Data OR related Life Sciences software is required.
  • Industry Specialization: Candidates without industry experience in Cloud Data OR related Life Sciences software should not apply.
  • Cloud Data Expertise: For candidates with Cloud Data experience, the ability to sell and translate to enterprise customers how complex data platforms handle ingestion, harmonization, orchestration, and enable the path to AI/ML is required.
  • SaaS Sales Acumen: Proven experience closing $1M+ SaaS sales opportunities.
  • Account Management: Understanding of how to map and work large accounts, with the ability to grow accounts into 8-figure opportunities.
  • Technical Understanding: Understanding of "as-is" (further details missing).
