Responsibilities

  • Develop and perform all sales strategies in assigned market, driving primary and secondary sales, and ensuring brand presence
  • Supervise and manage distributor network to achieve sales objectives, financial, and ethical goals per business strategy
  • Develop customer management plan, approve expiry product credit notes for distributors, recommend distributor appointments and credit limits
  • Develop, execute, and plan resource utilization; participate in strategy execution review meetings
  • Plan monthly and quarterly business, trade activation, demand generation and fulfillment
  • Monitor actual sales, perform mid-course corrections, provide inputs to reduce variance
  • Conduct prescription audits for Abbott and competitor brands
  • Create and update customer lists (doctors/chemists) as per therapy/product needs, maintain in physical/electronic format
  • Identify potential towns, appoint distributors and trade customers per business philosophy
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly sales targets by ethically promoting products
  • Conduct science-based discussions with doctors and chemists for product promotion
  • Organize camps (CME) per division strategy and customer needs
  • Carry out activations across trade and clinics for brand visibility
  • Plan and conduct merchandising and sampling activities per division strategy
  • Facilitate new product launches by identifying/targeting customers, meeting at intervals, promoting in clinics/trade, and providing feedback
  • Execute customer management plan ensuring 100% doctor coverage, customer call average per plan, market intelligence collection, and retailer inventory management
  • Ensure visibility of Abbott brands at retailer outlets as part of brand promotion
  • Plan and attend retail meets, market blitz for sales growth
