A split of cross-sell/up-sell and net new business acquisition experience is necessary, along with the ability to develop multi-year account and territory plans. The position is remote but requires residency in the Central Region (Chicago, IL) and involves 25-30% travel for client meetings, partner engagements, and industry events.
The Strategic Account Executive will manage and expand relationships with high-revenue clients (>$15B in revenue), focusing on both new business acquisition and high-touch expansions. This includes executing full-cycle sales, from territory planning and pipeline generation to closing deals, and developing tailored strategies to position AuditBoard's multi-pillar platform across multiple business units. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams (CS, Alliances, Product, Engineering), identifying customer pain points, educating prospects on AuditBoard's value, demonstrating the product, and guiding them through the sales process. The executive will also co-create solutions and business cases to drive adoption and act as a trusted advisor to shape product evolution based on client needs.
