Candidates should have a minimum of 10+ years of recruiting experience with at least 3 years of in-house talent acquisition experience in a matrix environment, and preferred people management experience. They should possess full-cycle recruitment experience in healthcare or adjacent industries and across various functions, including commercial, scientific, and corporate, with experience supporting hiring needs at senior manager/director levels across multiple functions, divisions, or business units. Expertise in developing marketing campaigns and direct sourcing strategies to engage and attract passive candidates is required, along with team leadership experience over a single contributor team or indirect leadership over resources.
The Senior Talent Acquisition Manager will lead the talent acquisition strategy and hiring operations for Abbott Nutrition & Corporate Functions, ensuring standardization of recruitment policies and procedures. They will develop and execute recruiting strategies to meet business staffing requirements, manage a team of talent acquisition professionals, foster a diverse and equitable culture, support project work, establish effective recruitment processes, and deliver full-cycle recruiting efforts. This role involves owning the relationship with internal clients at senior manager, director, and GM levels, utilizing cost-effective recruiting channels, implementing direct sourcing initiatives, and creating innovative campaigns to attract top talent. They will also use additional support from sourcing specialists or contingency search partners as needed, and may deliver training and advise management on HR-related risk mitigation strategies.
