As a Senior Go-To-Market Recruiter with a focus on Sales hiring, you will play a pivotal role in driving our success by hiring exceptional talent for our Go-To-Market (GTM) organization. We’re looking for a strategic and creative Recruiter who is driven, curious, solution-oriented and excited to play a critical role in helping to further scale and build Marqeta’s GTM team. This role has impact and broad responsibility, including: owning full-cycle recruiting, helping to elevate our hiring strategy & programs and delivering a fantastic candidate experience. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in full life-cycle recruiting.
  • At least 2 years of experience focused on hiring Enterprise Account Executives.
  • Demonstrated success in creative, results-led sourcing approaches with metrics to prove it.
  • Experience working with LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse and/or Ashby.
  • Proven ability to execute with high levels of productivity and a strong understanding of key recruiting metrics.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new challenges.
  • Excellent communication, adaptability, resilience, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated experience driving sourcing and recruitment strategies, as well as process and tool optimization.
  • Agency experience is acceptable.

Nice-To-Haves

  • Experience in the FinTech or Payments space.
  • Experience hiring Sales talent at a company during a period of evolution and moving further upmarket.

Responsibilities

  • Manage requisitions of diverse scope, focusing on positions up to the Advanced/Manager level, with a particular emphasis on sales roles, especially Account Executives.
  • Lead volume hiring and act as one of the main contacts for our Sales org within GTM.
  • Build strong partnerships with hiring managers and other cross-functional partners.
  • Build long-term candidate relationships through personalized candidate interactions.
  • Influence decision-making, processes, and outcomes using data and metrics.
  • Create hiring strategies for sales roles and profiles, ensuring fair and consistent structured interviews.
  • Lead offer negotiations, providing guidance on compensation and benefits, and assist other recruiters with challenging offers.
  • Develop talent pipelines, utilize multiple channels for sourcing, conduct market research, and lead collaborative sourcing efforts.
  • Take ownership of creating a healthy, representative pipeline for sales roles.
  • Lead small team-wide projects/programs.
  • Contribute to refining and improving processes, tools, resources, and strategies.
  • Coach and support peers.
