Requirements

Candidates must have 10+ years of leadership experience in recruiting, operations, or provider growth, with a minimum of 3-5 years in leadership roles. Experience in high-volume recruiting for clinicians or similar workforce populations is essential. Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with People, Care Operations, Finance, and Clinical leadership is required. Knowledge of role design, compensation strategies, and workforce management for W2 clinicians is necessary. Demonstrated success in scaling clinical recruiting for multi-site or multi-state care delivery organizations is a must. A strong operational and data-driven mindset, with expertise in recruiting analytics, funnel optimization, and KPI management, is required. Experience navigating state-specific employment laws and compliance, particularly in NY and CA, is strongly preferred. Exceptional communication, influencing, and leadership skills with a track record of scaling teams and building trust at the executive level are essential. Experience with modern recruiting technology platforms and a commitment to process innovation are also required.

Responsibilities

The Vice President, Clinical Recruiting will architect and execute a multi-year clinical recruiting strategy aligned with growth objectives and evolving care delivery models. They will partner with senior leadership to anticipate workforce needs and establish hiring priorities. This role involves building recruiting infrastructure and data-driven processes to track funnel metrics and market responsiveness, while designing proactive sourcing and conversion strategies. The VP will collaborate with the Executive Team on growth plans and own the provider compensation strategy in partnership with Finance and People. They will also partner with the People team on role design and compensation structures, and collaborate with Credentialing and Provider Enablement teams to improve workflows and accelerate provider onboarding. Furthermore, the VP will build, coach, and lead a high-performing recruiting team, establish a culture of accountability, and serve as a peer to senior leadership, influencing strategic decisions related to hiring, compensation, onboarding, and workforce planning. Providing data-driven insights on recruiting performance and market trends to inform executive decision-making is also a key responsibility.
