Candidates should have 5+ years of sales experience as an Account Executive or similar role, preferably in B2B SaaS, with a proven track record of success. Demonstrated experience managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders at enterprise organizations from start to finish is required, along with a strong ability to uncover customer problems and highlight appropriate solutions. A proven track record of self-sourcing opportunities at large organizations, the ability to develop relationships with senior leaders and C-level executives, and experience using Salesforce or other CRMs, sales automation tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and web conferencing tools are also necessary. A proactive mindset with strong organizational and time-management skills, self-awareness, excellent presentation skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup culture are essential. Candidates must also possess the ability and interest to try new things, be unafraid to take on challenges independently, and have a post-secondary degree or equivalent. Candidates must reside in the Greater Toronto Area.
The Senior Account Executive will play a key role in growing Loopio by driving sales opportunities within the mid-market segment to generate new business revenue. They will partner with the Sales Development team to prospect target accounts and self-source opportunities each quarter. Responsibilities include navigating complex sales cycles with multiple buyers, delivering world-class sales experiences, providing demos of the Loopio platform, and navigating the complete buying process. The role involves delivering and negotiating sales proposals, working closely with senior leadership to close large opportunities, and building strong partnerships with prospects. They will also prepare prospects for success with the Customer Experience team, meet and exceed quarterly sales targets, and consistently deliver accurate forecasts to sales management. Additionally, the Senior Account Executive will work closely with Loopio's Product team to help evolve the Loopio Platform based on market trends and customer requirements.
