Candidates should have 5+ years of sales experience as an Account Executive or similar role, preferably in B2B SaaS, with a proven track record of success. Demonstrated experience managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders at enterprise organizations from start to finish is required, along with a strong ability to uncover customer problems and highlight appropriate solutions. A proven track record of self-sourcing opportunities at large organizations, the ability to develop relationships with senior leaders and c-level executives, and experience using Salesforce or other CRMs, sales automation tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and web conferencing tools are also necessary. A proactive mindset with strong organizational and time-management skills, self-awareness with a desire to contribute feedback and ideas, excellent presentation skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup culture are essential. A post-secondary degree or equivalent is required, and candidates should possess the ability and interest to try new things, not be afraid to take on challenges independently, and be interested in contributing to enhancing Loopio’s marketing initiatives.
The Senior Account Executive will play a key role in growing Loopio by driving sales opportunities within a defined market segment to generate new business revenue. This involves partnering with the Sales Development team to prospect target accounts and self-sourcing opportunities each quarter. The role requires navigating complex sales cycles with multiple buyers, inspiring prospective customers through world-class sales experiences, delivering demos of the Loopio platform, and guiding them through the complete buying process. Responsibilities include delivering and negotiating sales proposals, working closely with senior leadership to close large opportunities, and building strong partnerships with prospects to prepare them for success with the Customer Experience team. The individual must meet and exceed quarterly sales targets and consistently deliver accurate forecasts to sales management. Additionally, they will work closely with Loopio’s Product team to evolve the platform based on market trends and customer requirements.
