This role is for a Strategic Growth Account Executive with experience selling SaaS products to Enterprise accounts, reporting to a Regional Sales Director. We are looking for a dynamic sales professional with a consultative sales approach, a proven ability to drive sales growth, and the skill to captivate a tech-savvy audience. You will lead and manage a pipeline of new business expansion opportunities within existing accounts, focusing on approximately 6 strategic Global 2000 accounts. Your ability to go wide within accounts and align our operations cloud story to different stakeholders across a multi-product catalog is crucial.   • Commitment to following up with others to ensure agreements and commitments are fulfilled.

Responsibilities

  • Value Selling:
    • Focus on highlighting the unique PagerDuty value and benefits of products and services, emphasizing impact and solutions that address customer needs.
    • Possess a deep understanding of stakeholder problems and focus areas.
    • Effectively communicate technical wins and strategic business outcomes achievable with a PagerDuty partnership.
    • Develop strategic plans that anticipate and address customer needs and preferences based on competitor knowledge and industry trends.
    • Identify long-term strategies to grow accounts by aligning with customer objectives and "Big Problems."
  • Sales Effectiveness:
    • Establish, oversee, and maintain genuine connections with customers.
    • Negotiate positive business outcomes with existing customers.
    • Manage and close complex, multi-product sales cycles for Fortune 500 accounts.
    • Conduct consistent and effective conversations with senior-level executives (SVP+) to garner interest and support for new initiatives.
    • Encourage positive conversations between existing customers and sales teams, leading to solutions aligned with the customer's strategic vision.
  • Sales Execution:
    • Ensure completeness and accuracy of one’s own and others' work and information.
    • Prepare thoroughly for meetings and presentations.
    • Follow up to ensure commitments are fulfilled, contributing to PagerDuty's long-term strategic initiatives.
  • Planning:
    • Map out territory assignments and priority account targets.
    • Collaborate with the greater support team.
