Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience exceeding a sales quota in a closing role, experience selling SaaS to business units and key personas including CMOs, VPs, and Directors, and the ability to accurately forecast business on a monthly or quarterly basis. Proven ability to close multiple opportunities within a given month and generate substantial pipeline from self-sources activities, with more than 30% of pipeline is required.
The Account Executive, New Business will consistently meet and exceed assigned quota within their assigned customer base, manage executive-level relationships to deliver business value against customer KPIs and objectives, hunt for opportunities to expand customer business value and licensing, work cross-functionally with teams like Customer Success, Product, Sales Engineering, and Marketing to ensure customer value, plan and execute formal customer activities including business reviews and demonstrations, and ensure customers become Salsify advocates by securing approvals for reference calls and marketing activities.
Platform for managing product data and assets
Salsify provides a platform called CommerceXM that helps brands and retailers manage their product data and digital assets for online sales. The platform combines Product Information Management (PIM), Digital Asset Management (DAM), and Experience Management (XM) to ensure that product information is consistent and engaging across various online channels. Clients, including direct-to-consumer brands and large retailers, can automate the transformation of digital assets and synchronize supply chain data, which allows them to maintain a single source of truth for their product listings. This capability improves operational efficiency and enhances customer engagement, ultimately leading to increased sales. Salsify operates on a subscription-based model, offering different service tiers to meet the varying needs of its clients.
