Requirements

Candidates must possess 10-15 years of experience in CPG Sales or Retail Merchant/Buyer roles with a proven track record of success working with Target. A deep knowledge of Target financials, JBP, and systems like Greenfield and SBP is required, along with strong analytical skills using data from IRI, Nielsen, and Greenfield to identify business opportunities and create solutions. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, tenacity, dependability, integrity, innovative sensibility, and the ability to influence cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

The Sales Director will lead sales efforts at Target and Ulta, developing holistic business plans including innovation, merchandising, and promotions to drive growth. Responsibilities include fostering true partnership with customers, executing annual business plans profitably and strategically, managing the JBP partnership for WBC at Target, leading shipment forecasting and revenue planning, and training/developing associate-level teammates. The role involves penetrating all levels of management at customer accounts, building strong relationships, and articulating the WBC's unique positioning to deliver overall growth.
