Requirements

Candidates must have over 7 years of experience leading high-velocity sales teams, with at least 2 years focused on building outbound or product-assisted sales motions. Proven ability to scale teams significantly while maintaining profitability is essential, along with mastery of HubSpot, Gong, and modern sales-engagement tools. A strong track record of hiring, coaching, retaining, and promoting top-tier talent is required, as is fluency in discovery frameworks for non-contractual revenue. An authentic passion for empowering nonprofits and aligning revenue goals with social good is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Director of Sales will establish a best-in-class outbound sales motion by identifying ideal customers and orchestrating joint sales and marketing campaigns. They will codify the sales craft by documenting, A/B testing, and refining discovery, qualification, objection handling, and closing processes. Responsibilities include guarding profitability by pressure-testing funnels and adjusting team capacity, leveling up talent through hiring, coaching, and career path development, and designing and running a structured enablement program. Collaboration with Growth and Success teams to convert product signals into outreach and ensure promises are met is also key.
