Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or Engineering, with an MBA being preferred. A minimum of 10 years of progressive sales experience in manufacturing is required, including 3-5 years in a sales or business development leadership role. Experience in manufacturing/supply chain, a strong understanding of the manufacturing lifecycle, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets are essential. Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex sales cycles, along with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Sales Director will lead and execute the commercial strategy for a business squad, driving revenue growth and expanding market share. Responsibilities include developing and implementing national/international sales strategies, leading and mentoring sales teams, identifying new business opportunities and partnerships, managing key customer relationships, and participating in high-level sales negotiations. The role also involves collaborating with marketing, R&D, operations, and regulatory teams, establishing sales targets, monitoring team performance, representing the company at industry events, and staying updated on industry trends and competitor activity. The position requires over 50% travel to connect with customers.
