The Director of Growth & Marketing will lead the full-funnel marketing strategy, encompassing audience acquisition, retention, product marketing, and lifetime value growth. This role involves translating market trends and audience insights into actionable brand and performance campaigns, and overseeing the growth marketing budget for strategic investment decisions. The director will lead and develop a team of performance marketers, guiding them to foster innovation. Responsibilities include leading full-funnel campaigns across various channels to drive subscriber growth and engagement, overseeing creative development for optimized messaging, and owning go-to-market strategies for new newsletters and product launches. Additionally, the role involves driving landing page testing and conversion optimization, leading registration wall strategy, and developing lifecycle strategies for onboarding, re-engagement, and win-back campaigns. The director will also oversee churn reduction and list health, identify and drive high-value actions correlating with retention, and optimize for LTV. Collaboration with product, data, and editorial teams to enhance subscriber experience and reduce friction is key, as is partnering with data insights and product teams to measure, analyze, and optimize marketing performance. Advancing data strategies, including tagging and utilization, and improving self-serve tools for faster decision-making are also core duties.
