The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience in business development or channel partnerships within SaaS, including at least 4 years in direct sales. Proven success in Big Tech or strong technical acumen is required, along with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive, owner mindset and experience designing and executing business development initiatives are essential. The candidate should also have a demonstrated success in building and scaling high-performing teams and ideally be based on the US East Coast or willing to relocate for optimal timezone collaboration.
The Global Business Development Lead will develop and execute the global business development strategy, including identifying channels for expansion and defining success metrics. This role involves working with the partner ecosystem to generate new sales opportunities, managing a team of verticalized business development members (Cloud, Resellers/Channel, Entertainment), and establishing and nurturing relationships with companies to drive growth. The lead will also oversee key global relationships with strategic brands.
