Panoptyc is seeking a driven and independent salesperson to expand our business in the micro-market sector. This role focuses on acquiring new clients and growing relationships with existing ones by selling our AI-powered theft detection software and smart cameras. The position begins as a contract-to-hire role with a trial period to ensure mutual fit, which can be full-time or part-time.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a motivated, self-reliant, and coachable salesperson who thrives on challenges. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in growing our business within the micro-market channel, with a primary focus on new client acquisition and a secondary focus on expanding business with existing clients. This involves significant outbound outreach and relationship-building to sell our theft detection software and smart cameras.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the continued growth and strategic direction of the company.
  • Gain firsthand experience in the operations of a rapidly growing startup, with opportunities for learning about company-building.
  • Receive comprehensive sales training from the Sales Director, who possesses over 7 years of professional sales experience and will impart expert-level sales training.
  • Embrace daily challenges to foster significant personal and professional growth.
  • Benefit from tremendous growth opportunities within Panoptyc, with potential for an executive track into management and leadership roles for high performers.
  • Increase top-line revenue and unit deployment.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Panoptyc's products and services.
  • Engage with dormant and warm leads within Panoptyc's existing micro-market channel.
  • Learn, practice, and master the Panoptyc sales methodology through dedicated training.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities for our technology.
  • Conduct and manage business development activities, including:
    • Cold calling and warm calling
    • Follow-ups
    • Cold emailing and social media outreach
    • Hosting webinars
    • Attending conferences and events
    • Conducting in-person customer visits
    • Posting on social media
    • Creating and distributing monthly customer newsletters
  • Track outreach effectiveness and sales metrics, iterating on approaches for maximum impact.
  • Maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Build and maintain lead lists specific to the micro-market industry.
  • Gather and share customer feedback regarding technology and potential improvements.
  • Develop and document sales processes.
  • Tier prospective customers and expansion opportunities, tailoring outreach strategies accordingly.
