Requirements

Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in a sales development leadership or manager role with a proven track record of team performance and personal quota attainment. A team-first mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills, including being a motivator, coach, and relationship builder, is essential. Understanding of the employer benefits space and/or health plan industry is preferred, and experience working with or selling through health plan ASO, channel, or strategic partnerships is a major plus. The ideal candidate is highly organized with a bias toward action and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

The SDR Manager will oversee and coach a team of SDRs, providing professional development and refining outreach strategies to drive consistent performance and achieve growth goals. Responsibilities include pioneering innovative strategies using technology and AI to enhance SDR scale and performance, monitoring metrics, and adjusting strategies to meet OKRs. The role involves leading team syncs, call reviews, and enablement sessions, as well as collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Business Ops for alignment. Additionally, the manager will research and understand strategic health plan partners, develop outreach strategies to build new connections, and leverage various tactics to expand Virta's foothold with these partners.
