Position Overview

  • Location Type: Preference for office-based, open to remote for the right candidate.
  • Job Type: Contract
  • Salary: $8,000 - $9,000 per month + commissions

HeyGen is seeking Outbound Sales Development Representatives to join our growing marketing team. This is a high-agency, zero-to-one role for someone excited to learn, build, and grow quickly in the AI space. You will learn the fundamentals of expanding HeyGen's customer base by prospecting and qualifying potential customers. We are looking for a team player who wants to learn and grow within the organization and build a career with us, possessing passion, drive, ownership, ambition, and commitment to the mission.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience and an interest in pursuing full-cycle sales and revenue operations.
  • Excellent communication & prioritization skills, with the ability to handle a large volume of prospects and customers.
  • Intellectually curious and ambitious.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to recognize patterns and common business problems to suggest solutions.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Excited about quickly-evolving AI technology and the impact it will have on the future of work and content creation.

Responsibilities

  • Generate sales pipeline by delivering qualified discovery meetings for the Account Executive (AE) team.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product to provide feedback and inform campaigns to book demos/meetings with target ICPs.
  • Execute an Account-Based (lite) go-to-market motion, strategically working high-value accounts while balancing coverage through higher volume activity.
  • Research and prospect ideal customers and gather key lead information through open-ended questions and thoughtful conversations.
  • Serve as the first point-of-contact for prospective customers across a range of industries, from MM businesses to some of the largest organizations in the world.
  • Work in close partnership with Sales (AE) and Marketing to deliver a world-class customer experience for prospective customers.
  • Work closely with the Account Executives & the rest of the sales team to accelerate the sales cycle.
  • Develop a strong knowledge of HeyGen’s suite of products and a unique POV on the AI and video generation market.
