Candidates must have full professional proficiency in English and 1-2 years of experience in a sales development or similar outbound commercial role. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and remote team environment. Strong organizational and time management skills, self-motivation, a results-driven attitude, and eagerness to learn are essential. The ability to work autonomously and self-source solutions is necessary, as is a proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets in a quota-carrying role. Experience with CRM systems and sales engagement tools is a plus.
The Sales Development Representative will drive Deel's growth through inbound and outbound prospecting efforts to generate sales leads that convert into opportunities and closed business. They will learn from the sales team and contribute to building the Sales Playbook and Tech Stack. Responsibilities include educating and developing leads via phone calls, emails, events, webinars, and campaigns, as well as identifying and understanding lead generation processes, supporting marketing activities, prospect touch-points, and the handoff to an Account Executive. The role involves generating email sequences and making cold calls to map and penetrate accounts, and conducting follow-up calls and emails until meetings are set.
