Requirements
Candidates must possess deductive reasoning ability, advanced analytical skills, and computer proficiency. Advanced communication, leadership, supervision, and influencing skills are also required. The ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, overtime, and respond to urgent store issues is necessary. Prior experience as a retail manager or supervisor is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
The Operations Manager will support the Store Manager in the overall leadership and strategic operation of a CVS/pharmacy store. This includes managing and supervising store operations, implementing company policies, managing sales and inventory, overseeing employee staffing, training, and development, and handling financial management. The role involves leading the store team, assigning and directing crew activities, communicating effectively with the team and supervisors, and supporting the Store Manager with action plans for operational and service improvements. Additionally, the Operations Manager will assist customers with inquiries, problems, and complaints, and promote the CVS customer service culture.
