An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred. Prior experience in a Disability Group Insurance setting, with background in Long Term/Short Term Disability Claims, is advantageous. Business experience in healthcare and/or insurance is preferred, and proficiency in relevant software applications and systems is essential. Strong leadership and communication skills are required, along with a demonstrated ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make decisions effectively. A reliable internet connection is mandatory for remote work.

Responsibilities

The Disability Operations Supervisor will lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the disability claims team, ensuring high-quality service delivery, compliance with industry standards, and meeting key performance indicators. This includes supervising daily operations, managing case assignments, overseeing scheduling and quality assurance, training and mentoring team members, and driving client satisfaction. The Supervisor will monitor team performance against KPIs, identify areas for process improvement, implement action plans, and collaborate with other departments. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate records, preparing performance reports for management, and performing other assigned duties.
