Billing Coordinator

Candidates must have 2-4 years of related billing experience at a progressively responsible level, including at least 1 year of supervisory or lead capacity experience. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word) is required, along with the ability to professionally interact with leadership, staff, and customers. Strong capabilities in demonstrating initiative, coaching, mentoring, training, managing multiple projects, and establishing effective department workflows are essential. Knowledge of billing transactions and processes, along with the ability to track, measure, and manage performance, is also necessary.
The Supervisor, Billing is responsible for supervising billing staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management. They will oversee the accurate and timely preparation of customer invoices, adjustments, and the resolution of billing questions and discrepancies. This role involves enforcing standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies, and coordinating the entry of customer contracts into systems. The supervisor will act as a resource for complex billing issues, participate in cross-functional teams, and ensure the effective resolution of billing problems.
