Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and have at least 3 years of sales experience managing Convenience Chains and Warehouse Distributors, along with 3+ years of experience in Broker Management. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to apply strategic thinking and problem-solving are also required.
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving sales revenue and market share targets for the Convenience Channel by executing sales, marketing, category management, and trade spend plans. This role involves directing a broker team, managing convenience chains, independents, and distributors, and delivering growth targets for all J.M. Smucker product categories. Responsibilities include developing and executing annual customer business plans, managing trade and departmental spend budgets, analyzing business to identify growth opportunities, and building strong relationships with accounts and internal teams. The position requires approximately 60% travel to manage customer and broker relationships.
