Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in infrastructure technology sales, with a proven track record of top-tier performance in competitive environments. Strong communication skills across all channels, Salesforce fluency, and experience working remotely with global teams are essential. A tenacious, entrepreneurial, and collaborative mindset, along with experience in high-velocity tech companies and strong relationship-building skills in a fast-paced, consultative environment, are required. Familiarity with open-source technology, experience with Command of the Message and MEDD(P)ICC methodologies, and a technical background or experience selling technical products are considered bonus points.
The Major Account Executive will be responsible for prospecting and growing existing business across New South Wales, focusing on deepening relationships with large customers and identifying new opportunities. They will deliver solutions aligned to customer needs, manage forecasts, track customer data, and articulate the value of Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise to technical and business stakeholders. Responsibilities include managing the full sales cycle, generating sales through outbound prospecting and inbound leads, handling quotes, order processing, and general customer requests, and handing off strong customer relationships to the Customer Success team.
