Candidates should possess 1-3 years of professional sales experience, including conducting outbound prospecting and demonstrated success in closing new business, along with experience selling into small and midsize businesses such as doctors, restaurants, or bars. They should be able to make 90+ outbound cold calls during ramp-up and 60+ outbound cold calls once ramped, and exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to learn quickly, and become a subject matter expert.
The Inside Sales Account Executive will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, leveraging existing sales strategies to promote Torch’s platform and close new business. They will conduct discovery to understand customer needs, effectively pitch the Torch solution, and work to onboard customers onto the Torch platform, while also prospecting and conducting outbound cold calls. The role involves taking on significant responsibility, demonstrating a bias for action, and collaborating with the broader team to meet and exceed sales goals, with the potential to grow into a strategic role with organizational ownership.
