Requirements

Candidates must be experienced technology sales professionals with a focus on SaaS and disruptive technologies, and cyber security experience is a plus. A proven track record of exceeding targets, acquiring new logos, and leveraging channel partnerships is essential. The role requires the ability to build strong relationships at the executive level, demonstrate strong business acumen, and close complex deals ranging from $100k to $1M. Proficiency in formal sales training methodologies like MEDDIC, Challenger, TAS, or Command of the Message is expected, along with a willingness to be coached and follow a proven sales process. An entrepreneurial, self-starting attitude with a focus on account planning, pipeline generation, and opportunity progression is also necessary. Experience with Salesforce is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Enterprise Account Manager will focus on hunting and developing large enterprise accounts across multiple vertical markets. This role involves articulating and promoting the company's value proposition and services to become a trusted advisor within the customer base. Responsibilities include working with internal resources and System Engineers to develop account strategies, organizing and delivering product demonstrations, and partnering with the channel to access new accounts. The individual will also be responsible for delivering strong operational excellence, including forecast accuracy and Salesforce pipeline development, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Proofpoint's competitive positioning.
