Candidates must have at least 3 years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience focused on net-new prospect acquisition, with demonstrated success in a consultative, solution-selling tech environment (SaaS, cloud, big data, or open-source preferred). Experience with structured sales methodologies like MEDDPICC, Challenger, or SPIN, a track record of exceeding quota, excellent communication and storytelling skills, strong organizational and time management abilities, a team-first mindset, high integrity, and a willingness to travel are required. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
The Enterprise Account Executive will own the full sales cycle for net-new logos in their assigned territory, from prospecting to closing. They will proactively identify, qualify, and engage prospects, build a strong pipeline, and develop compelling value propositions tailored to customer needs. Responsibilities include partnering with Solutions Engineers and Services teams, driving the use of strategic sales methodologies, building relationships with C-level stakeholders, collaborating with marketing and business development teams, staying informed about Confluent’s offerings, and traveling as needed to engage customers.
