Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses a passion for scaling and mentoring a world-class sales team to drive sales growth and deliver impactful solutions to prospective clients. They should demonstrate leadership with empathy, urgency, integrity, resilience, adaptability, and motivation. Strong skills in time management, organization, efficiency, and focus are essential. The candidate must be curious and malleable in their sales approach, strategies, and tactics, and be willing to travel up to 50% of the time for in-person prospect engagement, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

The New Business Sales Manager will lead a team of Strategic Account Executives to grow the client base by selling HopSkipDrive's value proposition and closing deals. They will foster accountability within the team, empower them to achieve goals and quotas, and develop strategies to grow market share and influence. Responsibilities include prioritizing time management for individual and team projects, seeking constant improvement in sales approaches, and partnering cross-functionally with internal teams like Support, Product, Trust & Safety, Legal, and Operations. The manager will also be responsible for performance management, including creating and evaluating team territories, goals, and priorities, measuring progress, providing coaching, making adjustments, and supplying reporting to leadership. Additionally, they will serve as the voice of the team to leadership, relaying feedback, market trends, changes, and opportunities.
