Candidates must have 6+ years of sales experience with a consistent track record of exceeding sales objectives selling technical solutions and software products into the enterprise market. Demonstrable experience executing complex enterprise sales strategies and tactics within Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Science, or AI/ML is required. Familiarity with solution-based selling, managing complex sales processes, and excellent presentation, listening, organization, and contact management skills are essential. The ability to build product and company growth as if it were your own, define and execute sales plans, leverage industry knowledge, and provide honest feedback to create an inclusive environment are also expected. Proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships and experience hitting multi-million dollar annual revenue targets are necessary. The Account Executive will be responsible for strategically pursuing net new business and customer acquisition using creative prospecting skills. This role involves prospecting, developing, and closing business in a timely manner while focusing on client requirements. Responsibilities include becoming an expert on Snowflake's product, conducting discovery calls, customized demos, and presentations. The Account Executive will act as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their IT roadmaps, prospecting and qualifying leads, developing new sales opportunities, and managing ongoing revenue streams. They will land, adopt, expand, and deepen sales opportunities within their assigned region and achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas by developing regional sales strategies and target prospect lists. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including sales engineering, professional services, marketing, legal, and finance is also a key responsibility.
