Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Sales Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum three (3) years of B2B sales-related or sales operations experience, including team management and P&L responsibility in distribution
  • Track record of achieving profitable sales growth and strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of business and accounting concepts, including ROI, P&L statements, and margin responsibilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence others effectively
  • Proficiency in SAP and other relevant software applications
  • Ability to analyze business opportunities and develop successful sales strategies

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Branch, Administrative, Operating, and Sales associates to ensure top-line growth, EBITDA performance, and operational excellence
  • Manage full Profit and Loss (P&L) and execute plans to exceed customer needs
  • Lead sales force for organic growth and manage key customer accounts as needed
  • Optimize branch assets for speed to market and execute Core Strategy I and II activities
  • Ensure high fulfillment levels and sales associate training, focusing on SAP proficiency
  • Control operational expenses, realize strategic pricing targets, and support customer transitions to the Total Access (TA) sales program
  • Foster collaboration, teamwork, and communication within the District
  • Maintain a safe environment at all Airgas facilities and undertake assigned projects/initiatives
