A Bachelor's degree in Science, Respiratory Therapy, Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field is required, along with over 3 years of experience selling medical devices directly to hospitals. Experience with the "concept selling" process is a plus, as are strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and contract management skills. The ability to develop accurate forecasts and execute tactical sales plans is essential, and candidates must be vaccinated for Covid-19 and obtain any other required vaccinations for vendor credentialing. The position requires residence in the Greater Pittsburgh area.
The Territory Manager will manage Semtech's respiratory care products within the assigned territory, selling capital and disposable products. This includes building and managing a sales pipeline, developing customer and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationships, and managing the end-to-end sales process. Responsibilities also involve providing in-service education, training, and technical support, giving feedback on market conditions, adhering to budget guidelines, and supporting industry trade shows. The role involves overnight travel estimated at 20-50%.
